I have always been intrigued by witchcraft, but as a child I knew nothing about Wicca. As I got older, I stumbled on the show Charmed and that's where I first started to learn anything about Wicca. When the show ended I decided I wanted to learn about real Wicca (because I wasn't sure how well Charmed portrayed the craft in the show). As I began to read and learn about it, I discovered it encompassed many of my beliefs and values. It revolved around a balance of everything...human, animal, nature, god/goddess...where other religions really didn't seem to have that balance. I've continued learning ever since and my journey has brought me here to this site (thanks to an invite from a friend). I wasn't raised with any religious background, so my mind was really an open book and still is.
