Pagan.World has begun transforming the site, stay tuned for developments.
Pagan.World is for our community to speak as they will, what they will, when they will, where they will.
Before the closing of the World of Witches Museum, I was working on a different approach to writing rituals inspired by the workshop process used for creative writing classes. This group is an attempt at testing that process.
Here, you can get feedback on original rituals and spells, find prompts for creating original rituals, spells and acts of power, advice on writing new rituals and insight into the creative process behind the rituals that were livecast out of Tituba Temple and broadcast on this site through MagickTV.
Each week, we will propose a type of ritual or a prompt to inspire a ritual. People who participate can submit a ritual that they have written or participated in and we will discuss the different approaches each person had to writing that ritual, what they drew on for inspiration, constructive advice, and suggestions. Eventually, the group will compose a digital book of shadows including spells and rituals, audio recordings of rituals and even a video archive of rituals written filmed by it's different members.
This is an experiment in collaborative ritual writing. Please be kind and courteous to your fellow group members and only offer constructive criticism. Remember that we come from a wide range of traditions and backgrounds and that the goal is to learn from each others' diverse backgrounds rather than pass judgement on one method or tradition.
